Every dealer making sale or purchase in delhi exceeding a turnover of Rs.20 lacs in a year has to mandatory apply for registration under Delhi value Added Tax Act,2004. However a dealer may voluntarily apply for registration even if sales/turnover does not exceed Rs.20 lacs.After getting the registration a dealer has to comply with certain DVAT and CST requirements like monthly deposit of tax, quarterly filing of returns, assessment, filing of other forms as required by the department from time to time.
