The hose clamping test rigs are used to test high pressure hoses for bursting pressure compatibility. The two clamps are used to hold the ends of the hoses, and a high pressure pump at the back pressurizes the hoses to check the flexibility and workability. Another equipment developed by OM ENTERPRISES for a similar operation is the IMPULSE TESTING MACHINE. The impulse testing machine actually tests the hoses for impulse high pressures until the full capacity of the hoses. This is generally used for spiral braided hoses.
