Bicep Curl Machine

Hammer curls are especially effective because they work extra back and chest muscles in addition to the brachialis, the brachioradialis, and the outside end of the biceps. Hammer curls may increase overall arm development and strengthen your grip when done properly. However, needless to say, it is important to do the other bicep curls too, to have a complete development of this muscle group. 

It is always best to learn to use these machines from a trainer in the gym. However, the process is simple. You can grab the bar with your hands facing up, in order to use the bicep curl machine. Now, slowly bend your elbows as your use the curl machine. As soon as your elbows are perpendicular to the curl machine, you should stop. Then return the machine to its original position. If done correctly, the muscles constituting the front of the upper arm (biceps) will be exercised. Do three sets of it, with 12 to 15 repetitions. Keep your wrists tight and straight when doing biceps curls. You won't efficiently target your biceps and you risk injuring your elbows if you flex your wrists while you bend your elbows.

Bicep curl machines are designed to work on your biceps, while a dumbbell is a weight of a different mass, that can be used to perform a number of exercises. Bicep curl machines are, to be honest, a specialized form of a dumbbell. If you look at the make of a bicep curl machine, you will see that the holding position of both the equipment is the same. 

Just using bicep curl machines will only help develop the muscles on the front of the upper arms, also called biceps. However, there are other muscle groups also in the arm that need to be flexed to develop a stronger pair of arms. Therefore, just by doing a bicep curl machine, one cannot hope to get large arms. Along with this, one must not neglect floor exercises to achieve a fit body. It is very important to do warm-ups, along with push up, chin, planks, and sit-ups to ensure that all the muscle groups of the body are exercised.
