Hub Flange

Hub flange (also known as weld neck flange) are majorly used for applications where high pressure is a factor. These are generally available with a flat face, raised face or RTJ facing. One noteworthy thing here is that the production of these flanges is expensive because of the long necks present in their design. Their installation process is also a bit complex compared to other flanges, with their inside diameter being machined to match the inside diameter of the tube for reducing friction and obstruction of flow. Hub flanges are generally used only in those industries where the margin for error is minimal.

Hub flanges can be manufactured from many different types of materials such as copper, stainless steel, cast iron, galvanized steel and many more. Like all flanges these are also available in different dimensions, with the scope of customization also available.
